While Jeep can rightly be credited as the creator of compact sports facilities, the company has recently begun to build the kind of small SUV that most consumers today want to buy: small, docile, transit-based cars. The Compass Jeep, introduced last year, represents a significant departure from the traditional values of jeeps.

It’s not a trail-rating – that means Jeep doesn’t give guarantees for his ability to survive California famous Beacon Trail. It does not have a real four-wheel-drive system on two scales. The biggest engine you can get is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 172 hp.

This worry-free nature is the product of its car-based surfaces. Many of its devices are also used for dodge caliber, the Patriot Jeep, and, to a lesser extent, Mitsubishi Outlander. Jeep has tried to distinguish between the compass of its siblings, mainly by design.

In terms of ground clearance, approach, and starting angles, it focuses between the road caliber and the more influential national. The compass offers an optional 4WD automatic system, which allows the driver to lock the torque between the front and rear wheels to improve traction on slippery terrain.
